Cancer & Therapeutics
Currently, more and more people are turning to targeted therapy as a form of treatment for cancer, as it is highly effective when compared to chemotherapy. While chemotherapy offers around a 30% success rate, targeted therapy is successful in up to 80% of cases. Targeted therapy is a type of cancer treatment that targets the changes in cancer cells that help them grow, divide, and spread. Alter proteins within cancer cells that cause those cells to die. Prevent new blood vessels from forming, which cuts off blood supply to your tumor. Tell your immune system to attack the cancer cells.
